**** cobalts

 

I have a buddy with a 06 Cobalt LS with a built motor and a garret turbo and that thing moves....but from a dig it is garbage, but from about 20-30mph he would run right along side my lingenfelter vette.

 

listen to this guy tooting his own horn, w his lingenfelter vette, i had 1 of those, it was gold w blue accents, had it in forza 2

 

Not to be disrespectful, but if you have to ask this question, maybe you shouldn't be driving a Cobra. The stage 3 cobalt is still a 14 sec car at best. He would need the N20 provision just to hang with you. Personally I think roll racing him will give him the advantage of being higher in the power band. Racing him from a dig should get him stomped. A stock Cobra is a mid-13 sec car, there should be NO reason (except for driver error) for you to even come close to losing. Put a hundred on it and buy yourself a case a beer and a UFC PPV, it's a done deal.

Yeah tooting my horn...just letting you know there are some cobals out there that would waste your mustang so watch out. Dont want you rolling around with you girlfriend/wife and get your *** handed to you by one. They are quick cars

There is a big difference between quick and fast. To consider a 14 sec Cobalt quick IMO is ricockulous. Sure you can mod any car to go faster than it did from the factory, but you have to look at the purpose of the car. The Cobalt is NOT a sports car, it never claimed to be, it never was designed to be. Can you make one fast...sure 100K into any car will make it fast, but any factory one, I don't care if it Stage 62, if it's from the factory it's a 14 sec. car. And that my friend is NOT quick.
