Yeah tooting my horn...just letting you know there are some cobals out there that would waste your mustang so watch out. Dont want you rolling around with you girlfriend/wife and get your *** handed to you by one. They are quick cars
Not true... I wasted a stage 1000 Cobalt SS with my Slobra...
There is a big difference between quick and fast. To consider a 14 sec Cobalt quick IMO is ricockulous. Sure you can mod any car to go faster than it did from the factory, but you have to look at the purpose of the car. The Cobalt is NOT a sports car, it never claimed to be, it never was designed to be. Can you make one fast...sure 100K into any car will make it fast, but any factory one, I don't care if it Stage 62, if it's from the factory it's a 14 sec. car. And that my friend is NOT quick.
SO is a stock S197 and the new edge mustang GTs....they are 14 sec cars with most drivers.
The only exceptions are the Supercharged Cobras and the GT500s...but I agree any car with the right amount of money can be fast.
I'm talking about the stock gts running around with a couple bolt ons on...they will run you if the are slighty modded as well. It can be a drivers race.

the world isn't full of good drivers unfortunatley...their are plenty out there that can't drive. Example the guy in the street and strip thread running mid 13's with a v8 S197 with a magnacharger on it. They are out there....
I believe a guy on the forums owns a new SS/TC and raced it with his bolt on S197 and got raped by the cobalt....they are respectable cars regardless of being considered a sports car or not.
