qucik help!

Default qucik help!

im changing the brakes on the 96 cobra, rears are done and went smoothly but i cant seem to get my front rotors off, anything im doing wrong? i removed the caliper and it wont budge

Did you take off the rotor retaining clips? They're the little star washer things around the lugs. It is normal for aged rotors to stick a little...take a big rubber mallet and smack the **** out of it. The Ford tool FTMFW!!!

i know i had those clips on my v6 but they are definitely not on the cobra

agreed... smack the living **** outta it with a rubber mallet....that should brake it loose (pun intended)

my rotors were loose once i pulled my calipers off, it was the caliper bracket that seemed like Hulk Hogan had put it on at the factory.
