Im guessing something is wrong with the switch to turn traction on and off so at least i know where to look now. Thanks again.
FYI if the T/C light is off then the traction control is on and if the light is on then the traction control is off

LOL^. Well seems like everyone already mentioned the most common ideas, alls i can ask is if you are sure you're not spinning in second since you are flooring it? Just a thought...

I'm on my second 03 cobra. My first one was built early in the 03 run. When I would get on it (usually merging with traffic) at the slightest loss of traction it would kill the engine until you took your foot off the gas. It was really dangerous especially when the vehicle behind me was an 18 wheeler. It didn't take long to realize I needed to turn of traction control. With traction control off (LED ON) it would never sputter.

My current 03 cobra was built late in 03. The traction control works much better than my last one did. It never kills the engine. I did however turn traction control off in my tune.

does your ABS work normally? the only other thing i can think of is that your T/C switch is bad.

Got it working fine, turns out the person i bought it from had no idea about anything electrical when installing a stereo.... dont ask me how stuff got spliced together but somehow he managed to splice wires that didnt even belong into other wires. So its now fixed and turning on and off fixes the problem ^^

03/04 cobras are notorious for having wheel hop. I am not sure this is what you mean but if you take off hard from stooped or nearly stooped and your spinning your tires the shaking you feel is defiantly without a doubt wheel hop. DONT DO IT EVER, always stop when you feel it. There are fixes to make it better, the cause is the crappy rubber bushings ford uses along with the crappy design aspects of the ford IRS. Basically your rear end is jumping around uncontrollably causing the wheels to bounce of the ground and it will break things (like your rear end)

If this is not it some 03's have issues with hesitation off idle, its in the tune for most. Get an updated tune or contact a reputable tuner (that tunes 03/04 cobra a lot not just anyone) and see if they can help you determine what your issue is tune wise.
