Default anti-syphon removal?

I'm in the middle of installing a new bosch fuel pump on my 2001 Cobra which I'm 99% sure was the no start problem. The question I would like to put out there is, I would like to remove the entire anti-syphon assembly, and leave the filler tube completley open. I am not concerned about someone stealing my gas, but if I ever have to do this job in the future again, I would like syphoning to be an easy task. Thanks for any feedback.
