I bought my 01 and turned the body into a Terminator, and made it faster than a Terminator, lol... Still got 01 black interior, minus the Terminator Cluster...

Same boat for me. I got into New Edge GT Mustangs, I really wanted one and was looking for a clean low mileage car in my area in the $8-10k range.

I couldn't find one, found my Cobra and fell in love with it. 2001 Laser Metallic Red Cobra with 57k miles for $10,900 out the door from a reputable lot. Looking at 03+ Cobras makes me want one, but $6-10k is a lot of money. The 2001 Cobra made 320 horsepower, it is a fast car!

I love Terminators, but depending on where you live will depend on the price you pay. Around here where I live Terminators don't sell for anything lower than 20K and that's if you're dead lucky. So to me, 20,000 for a used car with 30K+ miles is very excessive, M-112/T56/Forged or not, that's too much money for the car. If you live in an area where you can find Terminators for 15-18K with decent miles then yes, by all means, get one, but to me they're not worth double the price. I came very close to getting a very nice 04 Terminator with 34K miles on the car, problem was, guy wanted 25K for the car and wouldn't go any lower than 23K. Car was in excellent condition, but my pocket book isn't, so I bought the 99 off him for 11,500 with 55K on it, great deal to me, but I just can't justify an addition 12K for an extra 70 hp (although that car made 429 rwhp) still very excessive on the price. Also keep in mind I already have my supercharged fun car that would put my 99 to shame and give Terminator owners a good run for their money. Anyways that's my .02 a lot of Terminator owners may disagree, but to me it's all about long term profit, and I'm not paying that much money for a used car that's only going to continue to depreciate.
