well i have magnaflow catback with bbk longtube and catted mid pipe im looking to switch it up make it sound a lil more aggresive so i was woundering your guys thought on the 1 chamber also what do you guys think about flo pro there 1 chamber is half the price of flowmaster im kinda on a budget so what do you experts recommend???

 

Get a mid-pipe with removable cats, or remove the cats if there are no emission laws in your state. That Magnaflow is a straight-through exhaust, right? I would think it would be pretty loud. Don't know about 1 chambers, I hear they are loud, considering its like welding on a hollow metal box to your exhaust...

 

yeah i thought about removing cats but we do have emmisions and cops who do look under cars..my friends 02 gt sounds louder more aggresive then my cobra he has 1 chamber with 4'' tips what if i just change my tips i belive i got 2.5 on there..

 

i run a xpipe with no cats and the same magnaflows and mines pretty damn loud and agressive sounding. What state are you in that checks under cars? i thought only like california was that picky now adays:S

ya i agree with everyone else...both the procchamber or removing the cats will make that magnaflow grawel...many company make the cats interchangable because of emitions....it will kick your check engine light on so you just gotta get it tuned off

 

My Bassani catted X has the removeable striaght pipes and can be used with Long Tubes! ...thinking about taking off the cats this summer!

i went and had my tips replaced..sound better wish i would have done a befor and after sound clip oh well..

 

heres what i did took the tips it had off and replaced with some 4"x12" ss tips sound better...
