Exclamation FNG with 99 Cobra

Im new to the forum and just picked up a 99 cobra shell and a 2001 stock cobra drivetrain. All of the wiring from the 99 is done and pulled through the firewall already but I am wondering if it needs to be done all over with the 2001 wiring. I bought the shell with the intentions of building a turbo charged terminator set up when I had the money and after I started automotive classes.I got a good deal on the drive train so I figured id at least get the car on the road until I build the real engine. By looking at these forums for some time it looks like there is a lot more to do to drop the 01 in than just plug n play. Any info would help me a ton!

first off welcome! post up some pics if you get a chance.

Black*Death, i wouldnt go as far as saying they know more at svtp (which i am also a member of). They definately have more traffic and are more cobra oriented but the knowledge base here is pretty good.

99-01 stuff should all be plug and play. You wont have any issues when you bolt in the terminator stuff either.

The wiring harness will have to be modified accordingly.

There shouldn't be any difference between the 99 and 01 harnesses. All the sensors and locations for each application are identical. Could you explain what mods are needed?

I was referring to the "terminator stuff" comment.

I have heard that the 99 and 01 are plug n play but i have also heard that the security system doesnt allow a different engine to be installed without draining the battery out. Thanks for the welcome everyone.I will get some pics up soon.
