so lastnite the car started making a very loud hissing noise that sounds like its coming from behind the blower on the passenger side. you only hear it during idle and the idle is VERY rough when you give it gas it goes away.. vaccum leak orrr ?

 

btw i should mention the rough idle goes about 500rps-1100

 

take a can of carb cleaner. Spray it behind the blower where you are hearing the hissing. If it shuts off your engine, then you have a leak there somewhere.

 

ok il try that later thank you. When I was trying to find where it was coming from i was slightly pushing on on the hose coming out the back of the supercharger and the noise went away certain ways i would push it.. hopefully just a melted a hose
