Default Engine Build up

I am planning on beefing up my engine to around 600hp. I don't plan on having this done over night. So I want to do this right. What engine and drivetrain internals and components do I need for the car to support that much power without having issues? Money is technically no issue since this project will take a few years.

Really for 600 hp your block is not so nice.

Either get a pulled 03/04 with trans out of a rolled car,
or get a built longblock of your choice and go SC or
turbo both have their upside/downsides.

You can start by buying all the suspension / handling parts like
4.10 / 4.30 gears, arms, panhard, torque arm, full length subframe.

Longtubes with OR X pipe and some mufflers.

Aluminum driveshaft, oil / air separator.

MM clutch cable / firewall adjuster, short shift pro 5.0

Making your 01 block make 600 hp vs making an 03/02 block make 600hp

Probably cost you 10 grand in the 01 to just match the 03/04 stock.
Rebuild / cams/ sc / injectors/ etc.

Buy the 03/04 engine pull for about 3-5k depending on luck, and throw the 5K
into it and you'll have an amazing setup.

Just my two cents, prices vary by area for parts.

Thanks for your two cents. I will be getting a new forged block from mmr. I won't have 600 hp but for 10k through them I will have a brand new built engine and 6 spd tranny
