thinking about building a 5.4 block to replace my 4.6

Lightbulb thinking about building a 5.4 block to replace my 4.6

I was thinking about building a 5.4 block piston,rods,etc and I was thinking about boring it .30 which i think would make it a 5.8 351. would this be a waste of time or would it be cool have anybody even did this set up be4 any advice.

that would be a really cool setup i had never seen one before until just a few weeks ago and let me tell you it was awesome lol...i know ppl have done it but its very rare...

Depending how deep your pockets are, and what your hp goals are would determine wether its smart for you to do it. Keeping it N/A, you can build one pretty cheap and be reliable with decent hp. Putting it under boost will make that much less reliable being .30 over, not to mention as far as parts they are alot more. Most people have to use custom intakes or very expensive ones. You can build a bullitproof 4.6 for the price of a average 5.4 and still make the same hp lvls for the money. My advice, save yourself the hassle and build a sick 4.6. BUT i get the feeling you want to do something different than most, and your idea is different as long as you can fund it.

See the thing I'm suck on it really isn't a need to go inside a Cobra motor!
