Default Interior dash trim question

I just got my Terminator and love the car, the only thing I would like to do something about is the space between the 6-disc head unit and the shifter cover. It seems to have a larger gap on the passenger side than the driver. I checked it and it is secured in place correctly. I'm guessing I need to remove it and ship the passenger side to bring it up. Any one done this before or do I need to do something else to correct this?

Mines the same way, and ive seen alot of others that are the same. Doesnt bother me, but you can maybe just put something under one side to raise it up.

ya that and the door handles tend to break or get loose your can junkyard a new one that might seem tighter but it might just have to be that way unless you wanna velcrow(sp) it or double side tape it...
