Installing SLP LM1 catback tomorrow
Well, after this all of the hackery done by the previous owner will be gone. He had an exhaust shop weld in some MAC mufflers and they are not the right size so they fit like buttered booty. Anyway, I got tired of looking at it, crooked tailpipes just aren't my thing haha. So yesterday I ordered an SLP LM1 through my work account and it came in today. Tomorrow I will drive the car there and put it on before I leave. Im pretty excited about it. I think it will sound wicked with the off road pro-chamber before it. Not to mention, the stainless pipe and nice tips will add some bling.
Well, we do have certain places where it could be an issue. There's a little city just up the road that is a general pain in the *** to deal with. However, after driving the car yesterday, I think it'll be fine. The sound is manageable as long as you keep the RPMs down low. I actually passed like 6 cops yesterday and none of them gave me any crap... but Im sure at some point somebody will. I am not sure about noise ordinances, but like you said, they could get me for disturbing the piece I guess. Oh well, Im not worried about it. Its not my daily driver by any means, so maybe it won't be too bad.
On the positive side, it sounds absolutely wicked! And, its not loud in the car driving around except for about 2700-3000 RPM. But even then they aren't that loud, they just sound really good there. Normal driving around town and on the interstate is still very manageable (actually not any louder than before IMHO), and there is no annoying drone. But open her up, and DANG! Its loud, but sounds very very good!

Here are some before and after shots of the exhaust.
Before: Hacked in Mac Mufflers:

After: SLP Loud Mouth Series 1 Stainless Catback

And some general shots of the "mufflers" and tips before installation:

Im very happy with it!

I stay in Va hampton road area and i havent heard a mustang as loud as mines. I have slp long tube headers slp off road X pipe and the slp exhaust same as u got stopped 4xalready lucky for me they was all mustang guys. I'm really thinking about changing it to flowmasters but it turn so many head different sound then your regular mustang. So I don't know but goodluck. It sound sick in a tunnel everybody be hitting there brakes.
Haha, yeah I'll have to make one and post it up.
On a side note, I got a hookup on a set of rods and pistons and will be picking them up tomorrow. So I will be starting an engine build thread here pretty soon. Will be slow going for a few weeks though until I get some bills paid off.
