Mcleod vs ram clutch
So my clutch is going out so time to replace it. I was set on the mcleod rxt twin disc but after speaking to a parts store they reccomended a ram clutch and said the mcleod has broke many transmissions bc the hub isnt spring loaded.. So between ram and mcleod whuch one should I get?

IMO ram would be like an upgraded OE replacement nothing special...but mcleod would be an upgrade that will hold alot more then that ram...mcleod is a very good clutch and i know alot of ppl love them on here i personally have a spec twin disc and love mine

So if I do have to replace the clutch parts list is: mcleod twin disc clutch rxt, mcleod aluminum flywheel, mcleod throw out bearing sleeve, mcleod throw out bearing, steeda adjustible clutch cable, steeda double hook quadrant = $1600 then labor. Hows the list look?

list looks good i would add a pilot bearing and a rear main seal to that list that since it will all be tore apart and there very cheap parts...you dont have to get everything mcleod FRPP throwout bearings and sleeves are some of the best and prolly cheaper!
