Default Going to buy a 1999 Mustang COBRA.. dont know what i'm buying???

Its a convertible with black exterior and tan interior... so i know nothing about these cars.

What is so special about these Cobras anyway? are these supercharged or turbocharged? what makes them different and better than the regular 1999 Mustang GT? I want to know more about this car

what is a good price to pay for a black convertible with 128,000 miles?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mustang_Cobra

2V=2 valves per cylinder (1 intake & 1 exhaust); 4V=4 valves per cylinder (2 intake & 2 exhaust).

does that mean the 1999 cobras have 2 intakes for each exhaust? i dont get it? so does that mean if you want to get like a k&n intake, you have to buy 4 of them?

32v= 32valves. 4 valves per cylinder x 8 cylinders = 32 valves. Make sure you run the vin# to verify it is a real cobra. There is only one intake on the car. If you were to upgrade there still would be only one. The cobra motors are hand built compared to the gt's & V6's, and produced more horsepower. They also have independent rear suspension which the other models do not. They did not come from the factory supercharged. That was later years starting in 2003. The cobra is a limited production car, that is issued a certificate and is numbered. Since you know very little, my suggestion to you is, if you are serious about buying this car then definitely have a mechanic look it over.
