Default Blower questions for a '97 Cobra

I have always wanted a blown Mustang, ever since I was a kid.
I can't afford to buy a newer blown Mustang, but I have a real nice 1997 Cobra, what would it take to install a blower on it?
I have been away from the modding scene for quite a few years, so I know jack about Mustangs after the Fox bodies.
What would it take to install a used blower from a '03/04 Cobra? I see these for sale often. Any others I should look at?
I can do all the engine work myself, I have rebuilt many engines over the years and I still have a lot of tools.
Thanks in advance for sharing any info!

You are better off buying a procharger or turbo kit designed for your car. By the time you swap heads intakes and everything else... you could have just bought the already put together kit and taken alot of the headache away from yourself. Installing it should be easy for you, then just find a good tuner in your area and you will be good to go.

like ^ said... vortech is also an option... there is a build your own blower kit somewhere around here... for some reason "kits" are more expensive than tracking down each individual part... superchargersonline.com has a good bit of parts for reasonable prices.

And as Uber said your heads/lower intake will not work with the 03/04 cobra supercharger... You will need new heads/lowerintake fuel rails, timing cover etc etc to go down that route and thats just expensive.

So yeah Centri blower ftw, Vortech/Procharger/Novi. doet.

KB does make a twin screw supercharger for the 96-98 cobra. Although, because of the design of the B heads it does not include a intercooler, but you can use meth injection, it works just as good or maybe better than a intercooler.
