Okay, I'm looking for some clarification on a few things. I'm hoping someone here can fill me in on my questions.

I want to upgrade my stock front brakes on my 01 GT with the 13" SVT Cobra brakes.

Conversion kits are way overpriced ($1300) so I want to find a set of Cobra calipers and brackets. I was told on this forum that basically any 94-04 Cobra caliper & bracket will bolt right on.

And so my part search begins. For grins I called the local Ford dealer, just to get a price and availability. The parts guy at the dealer said Ford had the same part number for the brackets from 1994-2004, but the calipers had different part numbers from 00-02 & 03-04 (as well as pre 00). I cannot seem to find out what the difference is between the 00-02 & the 03-04 calipers. I'm hoping someone here can educate me?

I've found a few calipers online used at auto salvage places, but they refuse to email me pictures of the calipers. For the price, I'd like to see what I'm buying.

Ebay folks are a little out of my price range. I'd assume I could get these calipers for about $100-$150 but they're closer to $400 currently

Anyways.. Before I commit to anything, I'm especially interested in finding out what is different on the 00-02 calipers compared to the 03-04 calipers. I'd really hate to make a mistake and get stuck with unusable parts
