Default Is a strut tower brace really useful?

I am thinking of buying a CAI from a friend for a good price, the problem is that it doesn't fit with the strut tower brace from my 96 Cobra convertible. So in order to fit the CAI in my car, I would need to get rid of the strut tower brace. Would that be a problem? Is that really useful for daily driving?

For dd not really. For road racing its a must. You might notice it alittle but i got rid of mine just because it was such a pain to work anywhere in the engine bay with it on.
