hey guys! i have a 99 cobra and when i get on the gas hard i get a squealing noise that i think comes from the engine. n e 1 have any ideas on what it may be?

serpentine belt! get a new one or quick fix with some serprntine belt dressing(lube) you can buy at ana, autozone etc..

Well got the new serp belt on and no squeal. Thanks guys for the help.

Belt dressing is garbage. The best thing I've found to eliminate a squeal, believe it or not, is dielectric grease. Coat lightly approximately 1" on both sides of the belt (obviously with the car off), start it up and the noise will be gone.
