High RPM
My 1996 cobra has a problem with the idle rpm. when i start it it hangs around 1600-2000 and then drops down to around 1k after a couple seconds. If i rev the engine anywhere above 1300 even if i take my foot off the gas, it just revs up to like 2k. And when i’m driving and put it in neutral to coast, it hangs from 1600-2000 rpm. Sometimes if i’m in 5th gear and my foot isn’t pressing the gas the car keeps going forward as if i’m accelerating, and if i downshift the rpm shoot above 2k until it’s in gear again. All advice is greatly appreciated.
