I need help spending some money. what do you think?

I hate plastic. The previous owner liked the look of the GT hood and from a distance it looks alright. However the scoop has about a 1/4" gap from trying to reattach it, and the black part (which is flat black) wasn't taped off well so there's a lift line (a very obvious paint line).


I'm leaning towards the 2000 cobra hood


and then there's the one that i put on my GT which is undeniably sexy.

 

95 cobra R hood.

Or a carbon fiber oem replacement is always cool......

 

perhaps you're right. i just don't know. I found some pictures of the other side of the 2000 hood and it's just not as clean as my RR was.

 

i'd have to go with blackcobra. I got a 95 GT with the 95 RR hood. It's a 3.5" cowl, and looks terrific. i know u have different style but it looks really mean. I think it also changed the "stance" of my car. Good luck and your car looks badass!

I say stick with the hood you have now....and put that money into some suspension. Those 20's make ur car ride SO high.

But like I have told you before, you have one of the sickest looking 99-04's on this board as is [sm=smiley20.gif]

 

my bad... you haven't heard. The DirtyGT is no longer with us. I live in Biloxi. Hurricane Katrina water damage resulted in a total loss... i guess i should post a new topic about that...or change my username... anyway, i've purchased a new project (that's why i posted in the SVT section). Don't guess the picture was viewable. I'll try again.
