I posted this in another thread, thought I give it another try.

I'm an owner of a 99 Cobra. At around the 60K mark it needed new engine. Something with the crankshaft/bearings etc...very expensive to relace.
Call me crazy but I'm not sure if they just rebuilt the engine or gave me a new one from the factory as promised.
How do I know for sure if it was replaced?
Lately, there some things that make me think the engine wasnt replaced...might be me
Does anyone know of any good shop in the Los Angeles area that can look at it and see the work that was done on it?
