Im thinking about picking up a low mileage 96 Cobra. Right now i have a 2000GT that i like but i want to get a cobra, TOO MANY GTS!!! Not alot of people here have cobras, well real ones at least, not clones. What is the best way to start off, assuming i get a bonestock one, but i doubt that will happen. What do 96 Cobras usually price around also? I need some help on this because i really want a cobra and i want a stick shift! I got a automatic cuz i was too amused by the shiney 2000 model so i just got the first one i saw, yeah i know stupid. Well let me know thoughts. Thanks in advnace.

 

Depends, i got my 97 cobra with 90k miles on it for 9k well make it 10k. its in really good condition, except for the paint, clear coat is peeling off, got ot get to maaco or some paint shop, not to do the whole car, just the sides around the windows.

I've seen 94-98 cobras from 7k to 20k. as you know, it all has to do with the miles and condition

In all, you wont be disappointed by it if you get it. you are right, not that many real cobras around. i didn't expect to get the attention i get with this car.

 

Yeah, older Cobras seem to go for 5-15K around here...

 

Alright cool, got any ideas for basic bone stock modifications? Clutch is a no brainer considering it will be like a 96, gonna need that.
