2018 Ecoboost

My 2016 GT, on the highway (no lights), I tend to get 23-24ish mpg, roads with tons of lights are obviously much lower. The 2018 w/10-speed auto is over 6% more efficient for mpg.
I test drove 2 2018 GTs in the last week. The Sport Valve Exhaust option is a must - it allows you to change how quiet or loud you’d like it to sound. The one I drove on Friday had it, the one this morning did not. While the new exhaust still sounds good without it, with it allows 4 different modes: quiet, normal, sport and track - track sounds basically like straight pipes and is amazeballs.

I just recently bought a 2018 base model EcoBoost, prior to buying the 2018, I test drove a 2017 EcoBoost, I definitely can say the suspension on the 2018 is smoother, the 2017 was harsher, I also test drove a 2015 v6, actually liked it, advantage was the power was instant, no turbo lag, but with the turbo, once the power kicks in after a brief lag, it really moves, and a hell of lot funner to drive, I've been getting about 27 mpg, when out on the highway, when you stomp on the gas pedal, you can really feel the torque, it may not be a gt with 460 horsepower, but the EcoBoost definitely has plenty of power for me and definitely like the gas milage I'm getting, glad I went with the 2018 EcoBoost, in my opinion, getting the gt model, has to much power, no where you can use that power, especially in the city, it's just a lot of tickets and an accident waiting to happen, and definitely does not get the gas milage that the EcoBoost gets, that's my input

Find yourself a deserted road, set the drive mode to "Drag Race", and mat the pedal until you can't anymore. It's phenomenal performance for 2.3 liters. It will never make the beautiful sounds of a V8, but the combination of technologies in this drive train make it an amazing performer for its size.
In regard to the 10A, I think it's happier banging through the gears at 9/10ths than it is slugging around town in traffic. It could take some smoothness lessons from the 6A it replaced.
