Default racing and time question

I will be going to a track Friday night in fayetteville nc.

I want some time opinions...I have a 2002 5spd v6 mustang with long tubes, 3.73s, and 89 oct tune from vmp. What are some time guess? Also I have 18x9 fr500s (heavy).

I will be running one of my friends that has a 98 v6 auto with true duals and 3.73s (no tune just speedogear) what do you think the outcome will be?

Thanls.

Are they doing freaky friday tomorrow night? That's the track I go to as well... I'm from Raleigh.

It really depends on a few things. I do know the DA is going to suck donkey dick tomorrow night, and if it is freaky friday, there are going to be TONS of bikes and cars on street tires out there screwing up any track prep that may exist, so between the weather and possibly (most likely) bad track prep, I'm guessing very high 15s. Hit it again in the fall and I'd bet you could touch 14s.

What that guy ^ said.....

As far as your buddy.... should be a pretty easy win for ya

Is this your first trip ever to the track? Get ready for those butterflies at the staging lights, even the pros still get'em Hard to beat the feeling of adrenaline you get going down the track.... As long as you have fun, and don't get too wrapped up in times and comparisons to other cars, it should be a blast! Get back with us and let us know!

Not my first trip but last time I was having power issues lol. Sputtered down the track to a 16.2 lol.

I only asked about my friend because we he is just getting gears. Just want to shut his loud mouth lol.

When I ran a 16.2 he ran a four runs and the best was a 17.4. But gears will add a little for him.

That was the second run of the night we did. I believe that my car has more in it but heavy 18s are holding me back.

I will be replacing my lca's and getting much needed shocks and struts asap.

Next month I may put my factory 16" rims back on to see how it does.

Overall I had a good time and enjoyed watching all the races. Will be doing it again.
