Wow, that sucks dude. At least you will have a stronger transmission when everything is done. Would you think about launching off the bottle after the new transmission is installed?

I was going to launch with the spray on this trans if it would have lasted until the track next weekend lol. I wasn't even spraying when it broke :/

Ahh, sounds like a damn headache. I'm a little surprised it let loose on you like that to be honest. Something had to be off pretty bad to do that. Just glad that one piece didn't make it through the floorboard.

yeah me too. luckily that didn't make it thru, my exhaust held the driveshaft from getting to the ground, and nothing got kicked up on mrt's car. Now i need a trans/driveshaft and I gotta clean all the fingerprints off the front of my car and all the trans fluid of the back bumper/trunk lol

oh no. if i was spraying and could only beat a stock 96 cobra by 2 cars i'd be pissed lol.

damnit. I just thought of this, but if i have to pull the headers off to pull this trans i'm gonna be very upset.

It depends on the headers I think. I do know that BBKs have to at very least be loosened to drop the trans. I remember running into that dilemma with my automatic Mach.

picked up a trans today. calling alan at dirtydog for a rebuild kit either tonight or tomorrow. the car wont be done this weekend for the track which i was kinda trying to do. but all well.
