What do you think this would run. Goals.. 2500lbs and 700+ whp Srt-4 powered fox.

Bleh, meant to put this in the racers bench.

Suspension? Tires?

Assuming the rest of the car is right, I'd say 9s on a 1.3-1.4 60'. God only knows what that sucker would trap.

Thats uhhh... def interesting. Badass for sure. I usually dislike motorswaps in stangs from other makes, but this one is original for sure! Is this car local to us?

with RWD and the car set up right, I don't see mid 9's being a issue.

I'd agree with rob, I'd expect single digit passes.

But as for the choice of engine,

It's not local.

It's a capable engine. DCR is running in the 7's with one of their cars. Though for the money, time, headaches I def would have just built a V8 and turbo that.

that's pretty insane. As much potential as the srt-4 motors have, I always wondered why they had to put them in a FWD platform. it'll be nice to see it put power down from the rear wheels.

what trans is he using?

I would think basement 9's would be plenty doable assuming an all-out drag setup, if not cracking the 8's.

I realize different motors etc etc, but Jon Huber running the Ford 2.3T were into the high 8's claiming about 3000lb race weight, dyno'd around 800hp, and running True Street. Dave Flanders is in the same ballpark as well.
