looks good! are those tfs heads/cam? if so you could have gotten better but not a bad kit if that's what you bought. How big of a shot are you gonna be running?

I plan on running a 200 shot. The heads are TFS 190s, the intake is an R series and the cam is stage 1. I wont have money for the trans mission this year so everything is going thru the stock aod. I plan on a lentech next year.
Are the 190's pretty good? i've been out of the 5.0 world for too long, thought tfs only made those twisted wedge heads which aren't the best. the intake should work great for sure. I cant wait to see what you can pull off with a stock drivetrain. I'm gonna say on motor low-mid 13's and on that big of a shot if you can hook bottom 12's knocking on 11's. I dont see that trans lasting very long tho lol, my aode didn't last more than a few thousand miles with my 347. but after you put a nice trans/converter in it I'd say you'd drop somewhere between .5-.7

The 190s are supposed to be one of the best out of the box heads you can buy right now. The H/C/I combo should be good for about300Whp. Every 5.0 guys says way more but I'll have to see it to believe it. I dont plan on running alot on th stock AOD. Hopefully it'll last til next spring. The Lentech I'm looking at is rated to 800FPT. It'll have a 3600-4000 stall and a trans brake. Once the car is completely done the goal is to break into the 10s with a proper suspension and slicks.
That combo is good for around 300 rwhp, I have a buddy with almost the exact same setup on his 95. You will really feel the difference I can tell you that much
I think it would have been fun to drop a new 5.0 in there.. get 400whp (crate engine is 6,000, then new transmission and electronics, would have been spendy).. I'm guessing it would have been a pita to try to get it to fit too. but would be a cool project, and you can say you have a 5.0 in it...
