He's throwing out stats MT got off of stock cars....yours ain't stock.

 

That will happen... He's new to all this and obviously loves his car which is a sweet ride. He just has a funny king of the road attitude that nothing can touch him and refuses to think a lowly 4.6 is in his league.

Its so bad he refuses to think factory weak points exist as in there is no mod that could help him...pretty funny actually...

 

Lol, well than you should teach him! I wish I could run him too. At any rate, it shouldn't take more than one or two losses to change his mind about those non-existent weak points.

 

Run it it will be on the driver. I ran two 5.0's with mine and believe me we went up around 110-120 one was with a guy behin the wheel he had a off road x and a tune he was shocked what my car did! And the other was a woman with just a aftermarket exhaust and I believe a tune she was upset I left her in the dust she would just keep revving at me but never to line up at the next light to keep runing it! Both were stick I have the auto so depending on the mods and driver its a drivers race I don't care what kind of car it is unless your talking about a z06!

 

from your description of him i really hope you take him on a 0-80 race, which i think you have a good shot at. I know my buddies 07 with similar mods only auto ran 13.0's @ 106. your car being manual you should have a 12 second car on your hands. I agree that from a decent roll he'll pull on you pretty steadily but from this 0-80 i think it's your race to lose.

 

In my 2007 auto GT I had 4.10s, CMDPs, UDPs, driveshaft, steeda CAI, brenspeed 93 tune I went 13.5@102mph (DA corrected to like a 12.7@108 or something like that)

In my 2012 auto GT CAI+91 tune only I went 13.1@108 (DA Corrected to like 12.0@115 or something like that)

I think against a stock one in the 1/4 mile you have a shot at beating or being even with him.

He'll need a tune atleast, and a cai+o/r X would really seal the deal against you. I'd say at this point you have a driver's race on your hands, if you can out drive him you can win. also he'll probably start pulling away at the higher speeds as people were saying.

I think if you did LT headers and o/r h pipe you'd have a better shot of taking him if you guys are equal drivers.

4.10 vs 3.31.... I think you'll take him to 80mph. With the mods you have and can drive well..!

I would be really interested to see the results on this one too. The gears and driver mod should make a huge difference if you only run to 80. After that.......be ready to see tail lights.
