Default 15 392 Chally

Hey guys I'm washing my car today at the local car wash and this guy pulls up behind me in a new challenger. It was a stock 2015 392 Challenger. We talked for a bit and he told me that he'd picked it up about 3 months ago. He preceded to go over his kill list ( 12 Camaro SS, 13 5.0, 08 GT 500, all his buddies cars). Because of the weather we didn't run (started to rain) but was wondering if I stood a chance. I'm dropping down from a 3.33 pulley to a 3.125 next week and am hoping I make 525 plus to the rear wheels. If I can't beat him now will I stand a better chance after the pulley swap?

Buddy you need to get to a drag strip and walk away with a handful of 10 second time slips. You should be the fastest street car in your county.

Blue 10s? Man I wish! I must say, the car really screams. Gotta say out of all the mods that I have, I am really impressed with those Nittos. Damn when they warm up they grip like a SOB!

I've read up on those 392's. Those cars are a beast. Do you guys really think I can get him?

Your putting down more at the wheels than what those put out at the crank, and they're heavier cars. I mean they can still move quickly but you have the advantage.

Dude I went 10s on 460ish to the wheels. I probably had a little more suspension and tire but that car should hit 10s with that kind of power no problem.

It shouldn't even be a contest, he'll just get smaller and smaller in your rear view mirror.

was it a stick or any auto? I have NEVER seen a stock stick 392 run any better than 13.1@111mph. I'd get them til 80 by a car then they'll pull on me, but these at 13.2 vs 13.4/13.5 runs, nothing to write home about by any means lol

The autos can run anywhere from 12.0/12.8 stock, but they do real real well with the difference in transmissions..

Soldier, that 392 has like 600lbs or so on you. And as stated, you put more to the wheels than they do at the crank. You are very modest sir, and I respect that about you....but you'll destroy that car. They are fast cars though, I especially like that scat pack. But you're in another league, man.
