Default Noob tuner question

I have a '12 mustang gt. I don't really know much about tuners. I see them on AM but I also hear custom tunes are better. But it all depends on what kind of mods you have.

I'd hate to waste anyone time so it would be helpful if someone could post a link where I can read up on tuners. Thanks!

you buy the tuner (sct) and then get the custom tunes based on the mods on your car.

Or, start with something like the Trinity, that comes preloaded with tunes for your stock/mildly modified Mustang, then, if/when you start modding, you can get custom tunes to load to the Trinity to support any level of modification.

Thanks

I have heard several different stories on if the dealer can tell if a car has been tuned or not!!! Is ther any thruth to this, especially for the 2013s, i gues it all depends on your relationship with the dealer also, if they are mod friendly?????

No...

As long as you restore back to stock with one of our tools, they can't tell you ever did anything.
I cannot speak for our competitors tools.

Thanks
