Default Bama Tuner Question

I am sure this has been asked, but I did not have any luck finding it. I traded in my car last week and have a Bama Tuner with lifetime tunes. My question is can I sell this tuner to someone else? It sounds simple I know, but how would they go about getting a tune custom made for their car? Will they have to pay or can the lifetime tunes transfer, etc? I wanna sell it, but also would like to be able to answer these types of questions. Worse case I will contact Bama, but figured many of you would know. Thanks!

2011CS/GT,

Yes you can sell your Bama tuner. However in order for another person to use it, the device has to be unlocked. In order to unlock the device you have to return your car to stock and check the "married" tap and make sure its "unmarried". If this has not been completed, the device is still locked to your previous car and can only be unlocked by SCT for a fee of $150.

Our Free Tunes For Life program does not transfer over to a new user. If the buyer wanted to get custom tunes he would have to buy into the program (Which also cost $150).

I hope this answers your questions, let me know if I can be of any further assistance!

- Dan
