Default BAMA tuner issue ..

I have been fighting an issue with my turner since last fall when I had the gears changed as getting the speed to show right as I was always 15mph to fast. BAMA made me new tunes and it would take it to the point that I could tell the different between stock and street but never would touch the speed being wrong.

So I lived with it but just the other day I had the car inspected and it had the performance tune on when they inspected it and it passed but to my surprise my speed was corrected and even my transmission changed different and better.. what did they do to get the tune to engage 100% by inspecting the car? now i'm stuck on that one tune as i'm afraid to change it and mess it up again.

What vehicle is it, and what tuner are you using?

I'm sorry about the on going issues you've been experiencing. It sounds like we may just need to adjust whatever tune you usually run, to the same parameters as the Performance Tune. Give my CS team a call and we can look into this further for you!

Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

2001 GT with auto transmission.. tuner is SF3/X3 I got from AM

I don't think anything is wrong with the tunes but it just didn't (doesn't)take it 100% or something on the upload to the pcb. if I knew what the people did to the car when they did the inspection would help as i'm sure they did emission testing on it as the performance tune was what was installed at the time but not work 100% till they did what ever they did and now it works right as to reset the speed for the gears already wrote to that tune.

Dan, I have talked with your team before and notting came from it as they rewrote the tunes for me and the performance tune on it now is one of the rewrote tunes.
