Turbo tuning?
Hey guys, when I have my turbo installed must I have it dyno tuned or can I just get it tuned without a dyno? I want 400hp currently at 250. I'm just wondering because I was told I could get it tuned without a dyno but would I know how much hp I'm making? Or is a dyno the beeter way to go for a tune when I have a turbo? And does anyone know any good places to get my car tuned in the Los Angeles area? Thanks
I was told it's not safe to run more than 6 psi on your stock ecu but would it be drivable at like 1 or 2 psi on your ecu untill tuned?
Is your car a 94 Cobra?
I have a good friend with a 94 GT, running a T76 with a nice turbo kit, and it runs 10 psi all day, using one of our Revolution Chips and a CMR custom tune.
As soon as he gets a real fuel system in the car, its getting converted to E85 and will see 15 psi at least

You can run 30 psi on the stock PCM if you really want
There is no such 6 psi limit what so ever
