How much TOTAL COST do you people w/ s/c or just those who really know think it would cost to get a supercharger? I'm thinking about getting a cerain job over the summer that would give mucho extra money...so I mean including engine internals (if needed), etc.

1.) you dont need internals unless your running more then 15 psi, even then you could probably still get away with it

2.) what kind of blower, centrifical? roots?

3.) why dont you get gears first

4.) dont become a drug dealer

15 psi on a stock v6? Jesus christ. Maybe I forgot but wow thats a lot of boost. You have concidered how lean hes gonna run. I bet the internals on a stock v6 would die on the first dyno pull or first time you hit WOT. Thats my opinion. Just go to a website that sells SC's like Vortech and read. Sites like Kenne Bell are very informative but they don't make em for v6's.

Well nevermind, Vortech doesn't make SC kits for an 04 v6. Nor Pro-Charger. Hmm well supposedly the 99-03 kits would fit. But I don't know. You should just take about 5 grand, put it in the bank or give it to your mom, and wait for it to come out for your year. We all know what doin **** like that could do. I'd just wait unless someone knows of a company that makes them for your year.

Haha call up HKS and get a SC for a Ford.

why not go turbo instead? there are kits made specifically for the 99-04 v6. you can do up to around 15psi without any internal changes. there are tons of people that do just this. consult with them, then make your decision.

VMP Tuning

talk to a guy Justin on VMP. He runs VMP and is an avid v6 turbo user. He runs twin turbos on his current v6 3.8L setup.

All in all, there is lots of information on turbos and 3.8/9L engines.
