these guys over at 3.8mustang think that gas mileage cant possibly be affected by a clogged fuel filter.

i know thats not the case. i recently changed my fuel filter and NOTHING else, and went from 15/16 mpg back to 20-22. my driving style is exactly the same. just trying to clear this up.

ya...it will effect gas milage and it will effect your cars pick up/Acceleration....My 99 stang V6 35th anver. auto, i changed it a ew days ago....my car has alittle over 61k on it...and the filter was never changed...was not aware of it when i had bought it like 2 years ago...and now that i have changed it, the car runs ALOT better, smoother and Accels much quicker.....

yo need to make a crazy sounding exhaust set-up for my ride its bone stock, im looking for that V8 SLP Exhaust sound....NOT RICE!!!...any sound clips or people i should see...Also need to find out some costs...Would want to put this together by myself....

but ur MPG isnt gonna change if ur fuel filter is fine to begin with,but if it was clogged then duh its gonna improve it...
