Rear end gears
if the gear ratio is made for a 7.5" diff, then yes, it will work. The only thing the 8.8 swap would get you would be the t-lok, but if your going to change out gears anyway, id suggest putting in a t-lok when you put your gears in the 7.5 to save time.

looking to put new gears in stock rear end of my v6 stang. will the stock 7.5 rear end handle the torque of 3.55s or should i just swap an 8.8 rear end from a v8 with the stock 3.27s?

they dont make 3.55s for our size rear end, you need 3.45s, i would say go with 4.10 gears and a t-lok but im going to wait for someone who has no clue what they are talking aboot to come and tell me im wrong
