is a straight shot intake better than the fendermout intake. any difference other than appearnace?

Well, a fender intake is better because it's a true cold air intake. Some of those straight intakes I've seen, like The Brute, pull air from the hot engine bay, which isn't as good as pulling from the fender.

not really bc hotter air doesn't bring in the same hp as colder air (density plays a factor)...thus why when you run your car cooler at the track you get better times with the power
