just get a diablo pretator or SCT tuner, it will allow you to adjust shift points and firmness, as well as adjust limiters, and gears/tires as well as tune it for more HP

i think i remember hotrodsnbooze mentioning that he probably wouldnt have gotten a shift kit if he wasnt getting the stall and that a chip would do pretty much the same. if nothing else, try asking him because he has a shift kit on his 03

Although I bought it in December, I finally got my shift kit installed about a week and a half ago. I love the thing!! I am amazed with how much power I was loosing through the transmission. Now my shifts are really firm, I even broke loose in second yesterday.

A Diablo or SCT may do the same job (IDK) plus more, but I was unwilling to commit the money at the time and I got the kit (Transgo) for cheap but by the time I paid for the install and everything was said and done a tuner would have only been about a hunderd bucks more.

Even still I have no regrets with my mod, it now feels like a new car!

LOL

My tires are really ****ty to, but I was still impressed. It was just everyday booting around when I did it so no need for the 1-2-D.

Im actually getting my new rims and tires put on this weekend as well as my UDP from badges (should be here this week). Those babies are gonna stick to the road like tar, I can't wait to feel how they change the way my stang rides.

I'll get some before and after shots and post them, even though its supposed to rain on saturday.

Me too!

When I got the shift kit put in I asked the guy about gears and a possi, he suggested an auburn possi and said the parts and labour would be about $1200 CDN. Its gonna have to wait untill next year if thats the cost[&o]

I'd shop around a bit but the guy is a wizzard and I trust his work fully. He is the mech for a CASCAR team.
