hey guys i'm thinking about putting my projects on hold and getting a 79 2.3 L turbo i heard that ford had a real problem with the turbos over heating and not many people even wnated the 2.3 litre and just went with the 5.0 is this true i need to know before i buy one i don't wnat my money to go to waste on stuff that will just cause me more problems any advice is highly appreciated thanx

 

possibly the stock turbo on ford 2.3l over heats, put intercooler on it, don't think they have them on stock turbo, idk, could go wit a ram air hood. ford alum heads have tendency to crack easly too, prob not related to this post but thought i say sumtin. your guess is as good as mine at this point.
