Oh, that's what you were talking about.
No, I think that was what you were talking about... nevertheless, its always an option and one many here on the forum has done...

If you're under wide open throttle, you're not losing any power with the A/C on. It cuts off at wide open throttle.

i was watching myth busters a liitle while ago and they did a test between two of the same cars at the same weight. one car had ac on while the other had it off with the windows down. they both started doing laps at the track and ironically the car without ac ran out of gas first.(both cars started with a full tank of gas and went the same speed the entire time). so I think this proves that whil the ac might rob a little power it doesn't affect fuel milage

Well I dont care about mileage... I care about power... so i go back to what I said before... throw it if power is your main concern... for unnecessary weight if nothing else...

i know someone who got a smaller belt and switches them while at the track. If you do this you can cruise with the ac and race without it.(although i live in florida and it gets hotter than hell here so we kinda need ac in the summer)

what i meant is that anywhere it is hot it might be a good idea. and i know how bad it sucks to have no ac in the middle of summer when it gets to be 95-99 degrees in south florida
