well I was hoping to at least pull up more information on that code... I can't find anything. I'd start with the ignition system and work my way through the fuel system, checking each component for proper operation... rule out what you can prove good... what you can't... replace.

ignition control module....

i had that same problem, changed cats, replaced fuel pump, replaced an ignition coil as well, and it still ran rough.

But after i changed the ignition control module, it was running perfect again.
BY THE WAY..... the code you are getting is you are losing drivers side spark.
which means you are running on your 4 passenger side plugs ( called your waste plugs, they help improve emissions ), and your 4 driver side plugs arent sparking correctly. you are basically dumping a lot of gas into your exhaust since it isnt all being burned, and flooding your engine.

replace that, and your problem is solved, but that is just MY OPINION!!! its what i did for my car, and it fixed it fine. just my two cents, good luck.

by the way your car is too old for a computer to diagnose the problem. it is still OBD1, and when i took mine to a shop, they just looked at me funny and said " our computer isnt equipped for technology that old ", so save your money lol.
