this is like a noob question but i like the cisual part of a car better then the machanical part...... my power steering pump whins and people are saying maybe my fluid is low but i have no idea where the thing is to check it or what to put in it???? can i get some help on this please cause this would be a lot better then having to buy and replace a power steering pump (93 mustang)

Under the hood your serpentine belt should be running past 2 - 3 units one being alternator, another the A/C if u have it then the Power steering pump...there is a dip stick on it....pull it wipe it replace it then pull and check if it is in the cross area....

Odds are though it is probably the pump itself on a vehicle that old.

the container is usually on the right side of the motor. has a black cap that should say power steering on it. u can buy power steering fluid at a parts store. jus fill it to the line.
