ok so right now i just have the blackout headlights on a red 98 v6. now i thought its time to move to the bumper. so i was thinkin if i could blackout my tail lights ( so it would go with the headlights) and then get the chrome bumper inserts. do you think that the tail light covers look too bulky? i dont know what to do.

 

I would do the blackout on the tail lights, but I dont like the look of the chrome inserts. Thats just my opinion though.

def. go with the blacked out tail lights, the inserts might look good if you have a darker red but i dont think they would look to good on a bright red. get some pics of your car on here

 

Go get some of those black reflective inserts. With the blacked out tails and heads it would look pretty good.. then go tint your windows

 

If you're worried about bulk, then I would buy some tints. They look awesome in my opinion, but that's b/c i just put them on my car. And as for the chrome inserts, I'm not too sure about that on a red car. I'd go with black ones.

 

ditto....i did both on my Laser....tint and black insert...i'd take the front ones off too.....JMO but i don't like seeing lenses over the head/tailights...just doesnt look right...i'd prefer a nice headlight set-up and the stock tails tinted....but we are biased so....whatever you like

 

i have had the headlight covers on forever and they just grew on me. so now whenever i take them off, i just dont like the stock lights showing. i love the love of the headlights blacked out.
