i traded my 00 dodge ram for a 1997 Trans am and OMG! i know this is a MUSTANG based forum, but the guy gave me the car and 2000 straight up, the TA is bone stock and the *** end of it slips out after changing to 2nd WOOOOOSH. Do you think it was a good trade my ram had 76,000 and the TA has 106,000. its silver and sounds mean as FLIP. SO now i have a V6 mustang and a LT1! WOW and this car is fast so i have to share my first kill IN THE FIRST DAY I GOT IT...lol a non pi GT was driving down the street, i was driving oppisote directions when this kid turns a U'y and catches up to me, this guy thinks he is hot ****, we pull up to the red light i give him a beastly *** rev, he comes back with what sounds like a beast, then i get scared for a little and then i said what the hell, light turned green, i floored it, lost some grip no biggie, when my car shifted into 2nd THE *** END ALMOST SLID OUT FROM UNDER ME, but i put 4-6 lengths on him, and as he drives by he has a back bumper on his car that says "cobra" but on the side of his car it says GT, he had the cobra hood, prolly just a fakey but what my friend said was hilarious, "Look John Its A Garden Snake" i couldnt stop laughing, o well im prolly going to get flamed for this being a mustang forum but i own a mustang so i think its ok. Anyways, Was it a good buy?

EDIT: and does anyone know any good trans am website forums i could visit, only way im going to get a honest(biased) opionion! I just have to include this now that i think about it, IT WAS GOOD GETTING REVENGE ON ALL THEM GT GUYS AT SONIC WHO USE TO MAKE FUN OF MY SIX! SHOULD OF SEEN THE LOOK ON THERE FACES MAN, PRICEYLESS!

yea...it would have been better if i was driving a six, i feel ashamed...lol i raced a SRT4 Stage 2 let me tell you guys something, my LT1 could barely KEEP UP WITH IT. we floored it at the light, i lost a bunch of power off the line but beat him out of first, maybe length in a half, and then i hear this ZzzzzHHhZZZZhhhhhzZhhhhZhhhhh PSSSSSSS and off he goes, damn turbos. ive decided to put my engine back into my stang and drive it for the gas and bring the beast out on weekends/ Special Occations!

 

Sounds like a good plan to me
