Default A/C???????

hey whats up i got a few questions about the ac in my car and the first question is that when im driving and i dont shift till after 2700-3000 rpms my ac seems to change to a higher blower fan setting until i shift and when it does it also blows hot air what could be causing this and my next question is that i noticed tonight driving home from my g/fs house that the two center vents seemed to be sweating or something of that nature like the vents were wet and the vents underneith the dash were also wet the blower box behind the dash in the passenger side was also the same way what could be causing this to happen

There is a tube in the engine bay, on the passenger side of the firewall. That is used to vent condensation from the evap. Be sure that tube isn't clogged. Use a wire coat hanger to clear it. The moisture in the box can cause mildew and mold to grow. And it can leave a nasty smell in the car too. Also, it sounds like the referigerant may be low in the system. Or there is some contaminant, or air in the system. The system may seem to be a closed system, but it isn't totally sealed. It will tend to leak after a few years.

Best thing to do til then, is always leave a window cracked. So it will dry out. Well, unless it's raining. If you keep the windows closed tight, it will not dry out and you will be giving mold a real nice climate to grow.

If the evap is cracked you would loose all refrigerant and it would cease to cool. The drain tube is prbably clogged like the other fellow said. As for it blowing hot if you dont shift till after 3000 its probably cause youve got your foot far enough on the pedal to activate the WOT cutout that turns off the AC at WOT or a little their before so it doesnt rob the power.
