I think the same light that goes on when you lift up the parking brake also goes on when the abs is activated during a hard stop. the one with (P)(!) or something like that.

mine never has, and i know mine has kicked in quite a bit since i drive in snow

maybe the previous owner put one on, or maybe it was a factory freak?

your doesn't have the light or it hasn't gone on during abs use?

I think it says in the owner's manual that the little light goes on when you are either short on fluid in the reserve, the parking brake is up, or if the abs is active, but I'm not 100% sure, I don't think I've used the brake hard enough to activate the abs more than once or twice.

nothing like a jackass in a benz coming up a hill trying to illegally pass someone on a two-lane road while you're going down the hill to test the abs... [:@]

One more test. jack up both rear wheels. Spin one by hand. If the other goes the oposite way, it doesn't have a T-lok. If both wheels spin the same way, it does.

yup, it applies the breaks to the one side like it has traction so the other one starts to spin

[sm=happy046.gif][sm=happy046.gif][sm=happy046.gif][sm=happy046.gif][sm=happy046.gif] I finally caught Harv giving (bad advice) or at least slightly wrong advice. The MAF, is the mass air flow sensor, that's the little black box thing that sits on top of the mass air meter, which is located inside your stock air box, although on a cai, it becomes the link between the front and rear end of the pipe work. But a lot of websites and people get this screwed up in general, but the MAF, and MAM, are two different things but work together to do the same job. That little button you're talking about is traction controle, you still have an open differential, it basically just stops you from spinning out on wet roads. In general, mustang V6s don't come with ABS, they tend to use traditional disc brakes.
CHEAP MODS
1.) CAI (only adds like 3 rwhp, but is a decent start)
2.) Pulleys (releases around 5-8 rwhp, helps saves on gas, but still isn't going to be that noticible)
3.) True Flow Duel Exhaust (adds around 5 rwhp, and gives a way better sound than stock, read our sigs for some ideas first)
4.) Diablo or X Cal 2 Tuner (only adds around 5 rwhp on a stock engine, but can do wonders with auto trannys)
5.) Gears and a T-Lok (I say do this first, it's not really a cheap mod, but is about the only one you'll feel a noticible difference with)
6.) ^Those should be enough to keep you busy for a while.[8D]
