They both do the same thing, but the diablo allows you to do a little more tinkering than the X Cal does. But it allows you to tighten shift firmness to make the car shift harder and firmer (kinda like a shifter kit does), remove rev limits to hit higher top speeds, reset the shift points to allow you to set your car where it needs to be set for optimal shift performance, etc.

no chip adds 30 hp, a tuner does the most and only adds like 8

and go with diablo

i don;t think they add 30 hp that's what some of them claim tough

it seems like they mostly make better shifting and remove limiters then making more hp. question about ud pulleys tho- do i need the whole set or would certain ones work almost as good?

All you really need is the crank pulley and a belt. The others MAY get you an additional 1-2 HP MAX. But the billet w/p pulley just looks good.[8D]

ok...i just looked at a motoblue 42%reduction pulley on rpmoutlet.com . it says something about using a lower output ASP balancer kit. whats that mean?
