Still don't know how to do "in forum" links, but it's right there at the top of the page in the 5.0L forum, you can't miss it, I got board and just posted it like 5 seconds ago.

headers and H pipe are useless, go with an X or true duals
I dont believe that the H pipe is useless. I put it on my car and it made a huge different. People say you cant hear it after 2500 and thats where my car started to get the deepest tone around.
So I would have to fight this one out.

OK, h and x pipes are useless. The V6 has an even fire, unlike the V8, so air travels down the tube evenly, so if you reguardless of what pipe you have, the end result hp wise will be the same, now there is a difference in tone, but that's about it. Now yes, they do add more power than a y pipe bolt on kit, but that's because of the two pipes all the way back, not because of a useless cross over made for cars with uneven fire.

um no...hpipes are useless for power...our firing order is perfect. The reason v8s put hpipes is to fix the firing order of the engine..may be something you want to look into...they will NEVER EVER make a huge diffference...and at high rpms v6's dont sound good
