If you take the cats off go with Mac or Magnaflow mufflers because with flowmasters after 3k rpms its like your in a civic.

Yea the sixer ROTM was always a tricky one as my pics that I managed to compress small enough to fit on the forum looked worse than my ***, and not to mention that the car was in serious need of a paint job, and with competition such as Harv, Booz, AB, and the new commer Mr. Merik, that car was just doomed to loose until I droped more money into it, and I had just gotton so depressed with that cars performance abilities, that I just wasn't feeling it anymore. Now the GT, F it, I don't care now when it comes to money because to me, it's a more valuable car, and in all reality it is.

Do I really need a mid pipe? Will my car be able to past smog emissions test without it? I was thinking of doing what he did. Will i need new cats to do what he did? Thanks for all your help guys.

Mid pipe is not necessary on a 3.8. And it has nothing to do with smog. Believe me, I live in Cali, and we have the most restrictive smog laws in the country, if not the world.

EDIT~
No you won't need new cats either. They will just cut the y-pipe behind the cats and not even mess with them.

No, you don't need a mid pipe, but changing out the mid pipe will give your car a better sound and you know that your exhaust line is new. But hey, it's up to you as to what "YOU" want to do, but me, I'm the type of person where if I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna try to do it right and get everything done at once. Now no, you won't need new headers, only time I ever reccommend a header swap for sixers is if A.) you're having problems with your stock headers, or B.) your going with a S/C or T/C.

ok guys i've saved up some money now. I'm going to take my car to a shop tommorrow to get an estimate. I'm either going to let them fabricate the system or get gt take offs depending on how much it would cost for them to fabricate a system. I'm gonna do the true duals set up. I'm going go with theses and these tips
